Re: After the Scourge
Thanks for the that
Sorry I should have been more precise. When the pcs venture out, how long is it since the Scourge ended, or, how long has life been getting back to normal?
I think I read somewhere it was about 50 years

After the Scourge

I'm sure one of the core rulebooks mention it but I can't remember

Re: Medieval Barsaive?
Perhaps the dwarves of Throal try to set up a feudalistic society with the current king portioning out land to (the Earthdawn equivalent of) barons, dukes, earls etc. It would seem a simple thing to do and of course you'd have plenty of conflict with various cities/towns/villages rebelling against ...

Re: Medieval Barsaive?
I think a feudal society with all its status levels and pecking orders would enrich the Barsaive setting even more, and it doesn't have to be all over the setting either. Take Harnmaster/Harn for example, in the kingdom of Kaldor and other similar societies it's all about feudalism and as a result i...

Improving in Multiple Disciplines?
I can either go insane trying to figure out the rules for improving in multi disciplines, or I can just rule you can't have more than one discipline. Think I'll go with the latter. In all seriousness, does anyone understand the rules for improving in multi disciplines? I've read them a few times now...

Re: Applying Penalties
Thanks for clarifying TR
EDIT: In other words, it means the same thing. Reason being, the test results are modified because the step numbers that generated those test results had themselves been modified.
