Re: Noble Armada
The Revised Edition from Holistic (cannot say anything about the first) had a lot of background material and cost tables, most of which found their way into the 2nd edition rulebook (as did a lot of stuff from the player's companion). That being said: The game was a space wargame, but had a lot of b...

Re: map-sets
While we are at it: Will the new map sets be paper thick or cardboard thick? I tried the new edition of battletech last week and the very sturdy cardboard maps really felt good. Especially as they add weight to the battlefield an so are not as easiyl slipped/shacken up. Also: Are you guys thinking a...

Re: 3rd edition DW, which modifications would you like to se
I enjoy the rules as they are a lot. I would also like to keep the Hex-based play and the order system. Those are basically the things that made demonworld appeal to me in he first place, and especially the order system was way ahead of it's time imho. What I would like to see is a little tweaking i...

Re: Plans for new armies
@Paddy649: You don't plan to use the minis for GWs 15mm Warhammer game, are you? ^^ I have to say: Some kind of vampire would be nice. Not neccessarily a whole army, but maybe as a character or something. Also the Southern Human Empire (don't have the name right now) would be easy to integrate, as t...

Re: Third edition
I still use the free of charge german 2nd edition armybooks from Hobby products and would like to get my hands on some professionally printed army cards, so I think I will put the money for the army books away untill the third edition ist out.
Thanks for the honest answer.

Re: Third edition
Quick questions: Is the rulebook availeable at Gencon already the 3rd edition or the 2nd? Also: Are the printed armybooks supplied with their respective recruitment cards? If so: Have the orcs and empire army books all the cards or only those, that were in the original armybooks? (i.e.: Are they mis...

Re: Plans for new armies
Well:
I would like to see the minions of the firedemon unleashed. ^^
Also: A list with more undead potential would be nice, because we have a player around here who likes to play an all undead army.

Plans for new armies
I realize, that there is quite a lot of work ahead for the existing 8 armies to come up to speed for 3rd edition, but I was wondering if there are plans for new armies (somewhere around 2020 or whenever). I always wondered about the minions of the southern demon for example.

That's great news, since I would need more villages and maps ^^.
