Re: Spells Affecting Horrors
The only spells that I can think of off the top of my head are Horror Call, Sense Horror, Life Circle of One, Restrain Horror, and Spirit Bolt (which can only effect Astral Horrors).

Re: a question (standard action and second attacks)
I would say no, since the second attack and second shot talents (or skills) specifically say that you may make an additional attack with the weapon you used for your first attack test. And second weapon says that you may use it in the same round that you used your primary one-handed weapon.

Re: Horror Call & Foul Vapors questions
For Horror Call, I would think that this spell creates some sort of physical embodiment for Horrors that only exist in the Astral Plane. For Foul Vapors, all targets within the area are effected. Any target that enters the AoE while it's still active are also effected. Line of sight is not required ...

Re: Whats a Charater?
I would say that they are Harried, starting on their turn after the successful Effect Test, until they roll a successful Wil test or are out of line of sight. Although, I've never had anyone target the guy that was screaming and running for the hills.

Re: A few questions.
I'm pretty sure the last sentence in the spell description (If failed, the target regains control that round—he may move and act of his own accord.) means that as long as the Effect Test is successful, that the target can make no actions.

Re: Whats a Charater?
I understand that it's not a combat option. My post should have read like this: Walking slowly away from the target probably wasn't declared beforehand, either.* *This comment may have contained sarcasm. But seriously, who's going to announce that they're using the Running combat option in case they...

Re: Cast Net talent
The way that I understand it, cast net is used as something of a substitute for parry. It also adds the possibility of entangling the weapon. I'm pretty sure it is designed to not add a size bonus. However, if you were using the parry talent from a second discipline (since the boatman never gets par...

I would think that it is an exception. Walking slowly away from the target probably wasn't declared beforehand, either.

Re: Flying in bad weather.
My first thought is this: If flying an airship is inadvisable, windling and magic carpet flight would be next to impossible. If you had to assign a difficulty number, I would consult the chart (pg. 89 GM guide). Personally, I would think this very hard or heroic. So, novice is looking like anywhere ...
