Regarding your first point: I think one often overlooked option for low-level horror adversaries are marked namegivers. Re: The Step System probability charts

There's been a question like this on RPG.SE: , perhaps it will help you. Alas the link in the top voted answer links back to the now missing article from the old home page, but there's quite some explanation going on in the other answers.

Re: About a PC generator for the VP system (Fading Suns)

Anybody want to throw the first rock? Someone that actually have any useful skills? (not talking of myself :D ) I'd say that I have the skills but I neither have the time right now nor the system knowledge of FS. :( And on a further thought, I'd probably use Haxe for it. Re: About a PC generator for the VP system (Fading Suns)

Good question. There's usually not a problem, as long the generator sticks to the mechanical aspects of character creation, and not the "fluff" elements (that's the stuff that tends to get into interesting legal territory). Hmmm sounds like a very reasonable idea. Now the only problem is ...

Re: About a PC generator for the VP system (Fading Suns)

Just chiming in out of curiosity. How would a fan-made FS3 character builder/generator work in regard to licensing or copyright? I guess many players wouldn't only want to be able to select some rules elements, but also get a matching description right at the same place. So that they can build the c...
