Re: Peoples reaction toward a Questing Knight

Ok, another good question. After reading, I felt that it was not enough clear : 1-How does peoples react toward a QK depending on their social rank? 2-How should we treat QK, especially when is with a Vorox Cohort moving around, in space or on a planet? 3-How far will go the empire to pay for every...

Re: Cost of transport on a starship

How could it cost to go from Cadavus to DeMoley on a Small dirty ship(15 to 30 peoples)? and How could it cost to go from Cadavus to Demoley by Severus on a Big Luxury ship (150peoples)? In either case "whatever helps the adventure" is probably the best answer. The luxury liner should pro...

Re: Fading Suns Quiz

In what specific Fading Suns book can one see a drawing of the exterior of a Vau ship? I have all of them and as far as I can tell there is only one and only one other place to find a a decent rendering of a Vau ship (don't know if we do bonus points, but you'll have my respect if you can guess what...

Re: Fading Suns Quiz

I'll go with the obvious joke answer - Nobody, Nowhere, No Time, No Way, No How. But Saint Claudius (a page of Saint Lexitus) is considered the guardian of the world (see Nowhere entry from Imperial Worlds section of Imperial Survey.) This is why the planetary cathedral is "St. Claudius Cathedr...

Re: Homebrew writeups of Paradise or Yathrib?

Ah darn, I tried using the wayback machine on the internet archive to see if I could pull up past versions of the previous forums and poke around for what you mentioned. Sadly (probably related to spam-bots) the old site used the "robots.txt" exclusion which means they weren't cataloged or...

Re: For Fun

Pretty much any time my players came up with a plan involving frictionless gel - particularly the campaign when one of them was playing a member of the Guild Mercurian. I'll post back with some specific stories later but one of them involves them impersonating a cleaning crew and "prepping"...

Re: Cost of transport services

If it is cheap, just be sure to emphasize that it is for the upper crust only. Good luck! Yeah a passenger flight would almost certainly be an exclusive convenience for the wealthy and important. Cargo flights or work-crew transport would be an alternative, but the party would have to negotiate pas...

Re: Cost of transport services

Travel on flitters could conceivably be as cheap as half a firebird - but probably only on league planets. Outside of league worlds flitter transport is most likely something reserved for the wealthy or important so even regularly scheduled flights between major cities would likely cost a few firebi...

Re: Of Bastards and Exiles

There's also the option to have people who were rumored or beleived to have done things worthy of much harsher punishment - but whose crimes could never be proven or formal charges/allegations were never brought. In the case of a noble the shame that they were beleived to be involved with something ...
