Brief Backstory:
T'Slon Vlatar was born in the small village of T'slidic along the Serpent River. As an only child his father, a riverboat captain, and mother, a pottery maker and artist, were supportive but fairly "hands-off" parents. This allowed for T'Slon to grow up fast even by T'skrang standards.

After coming of age at 12, he immediately signed on to the only riverboat crew that would have him, the Riverwraith. While working on the Riverwraith, T'Slon showed an affinity for the Swordmaster Discipline to the Markast, the ship's first mate and Swordmaster, and began training under his tutelage. Unfortunately, this ship was poorly run by a drunken captain. Before long the crew, led by Markast, mutinied and seized the ship as "payment" for salaries owed. Before long word got around about the mutiny and "legitimate" work began to become harder and harder to find. This is when the Riverwraith turned to piracy.

T'Slon lived as a pirate for about 1 year as he finished his training, and then left the crew of the Riverwraith and went to hibernate in Throal as it closed its doors. He views the moment as an opportunity to put the pirate life behind him and build a more heroic legend, but old habits die hard.
