Nib was born into a rather chaotic windling family within Clan Skyreader, and was raised amongst the Wedshal of Throal. He grew up with the middle class folks living in the Halls and has a fondness for the kind elderly dwarves that watched out for him to this day.
At an early age Nib went to work in the Great Library as a page; doing step and fetch it, re-shelving books, cleaning, organizing material, and so forth. As he continued his pre-initiation study of magic, Nib was entrusted with scribe work; making copies of older, fading works for the librarians. Thanks to the precision of his astral sight, he found he had a real talent for rendering the details of illuminated works with special attention to the nuances of the magical inks. Nib also genuinely likes people, and his social skills were a distinct advantage in working with the often crotchety researchers at The Great Library. The work was enough to pay for his studies and he worked hard to be ready for his initiation into the wizard discipline.
Magic fascinates Nib, as do the intricates of Logos (the web of knowledge), Eidos (the realm of ideas within which the Logos resides), and the Magic of Names (the Namegiver shorthand way of referring to the magical patterns that connect the astral plane to the Eidos and allow it to manifest in such a bewilderingly beautiful and breathtaking variety of forms).
At the time of his initiation, the Clan was just starting to colonize Skyreader Island and had brokered their agreement with the local t'skrang of House V'strimon. The clan leaders arranged Nib's apprenticeship to an older cousin, Zivilyn, and now Nib is headed off to the Island, to live and study.
Food Fight
Nib traveled to Skyreader Island for the Pastry Festival. He and his companions foiled a dastardly plot to kidnap and enslave the winning pastry chef by Captain Gerri van Drake of House K'tenshin and her minions - the crew of the Soaring Espagra.
There Goes the Neighborhood
Nib traveled to Clear Creek Crossing to investigate supply caravan attacks. He and his companions discovered a farm guarded by strawmen where new deceivers were incubated, and evidence that a powerful illusionist is involved.
Freedom on the Soaring Espagra
Nib traveled along the Coil River to rescue a number of ordinary folks taken and enslaved by Captain Gerri van Drake of House K'tenshin. The crew of the Soaring Espagra was captured, and the Slaver forced to flee with her ship. Note: Have a splinter from the ship's hull for later tracking efforts.

Nib traveled into the Throal Mountains to assist the Brotherhood of the Gannagroth Liferock clear nearby trouble spots as the obsidimen adjust to life Post Scourge.
Generalized Fraternity
Nib traveled to the village of Harmony and discovered an Ant Invae nest turning name givers into hybrid ant spirits. Seven in process victims were rescued and taken to the Hospital of Garlen's Mercy in Throal (currently being treated in an isolation area in Bartertown).
Long Ago But Not Forgotten
Nib traveled with Bloodbeat to visit the descendants of a friend in the town built after Kaer Kohldur opened, and discovered an organized crime ring leading the dwarves down a dark path.

Nib went with a group of friends to see a marvelous historical play about Travar, and together they foiled a dastardly plot to poison the cast and make off with the ticket money.

Enhanced Spell Matrix Object Research for Bloodbeat
Nib and a group of friends saved the kidnapped Viktor from an abandoned mine below Kohldur, and started the elven beastmaster Dar on the path to redemption by foiling the plot of the Questor of Raggok, the Doppelganger Folmar. A permanent Astral Maw deep within the mine has been blocked but not closed.
Tremors
Nib and a group of friends traced the tremors emanating from Braza's Kingdom to a nexus of astral corruption centered in a large creature moving through and disturbing the earth below the ruins. The last surviving windling descendants of the failed kaer of Braza's Kingdom were rescued and relocated to Skyreader Island safely. Maps and reconnaissance information were provided to the Daicar brothers about the location and dangers of the abandoned mine.
Out of Time
Nib and a group of friends were lured by a doppleganger to his lair, where they freed an obsidiman from Gannagroth liferock from his captivity.
Corporate Espionage
Nib and a group of friends defended a Skyreader Island spice merchant and his family against a viscous gang. The gang was systematically destroying the merchant's spice gardens and wild harvest gathering spots. Two of the thugs escaped ( a t'skrang male and an elven female ). A third ( another t'skrang male ) was captured but refused to talk.
Obsidiman Trouble
Nib and a group of friends traveled to the Ayodhya liferock near Lake Ban to stop an insidious Gharmek from corrupting the brothers of the liferock.
