1st ed adventures updated to 3e/4e?

Post by Michael » Thu Aug 08, 2019 8:48 pm

Has anyone updated the 1st ed adventures for either 3rd or 4th? I want to make use of these great adventures but don't want to make the player too OP (or maybe underpowered?)

thanks

you only need to convert the horrors that aren't in 3rd or 4e.
most everything else should have a updated version or do what i do sometimes just use as is

We are using the thread items from Mists of Betrayal as given.
No problems so far.

My group has currently gone through the 1st edition adventures; Mists of Betrayal, Infected, and Shattered Pattern. They started with Ardanyan's Revenge from 3rd edition and haven't had any issues just handling everything as printed. Sure some of the talents and such are different for the disciplines in 4th edition, but we just kinda hand wave it as I don't have the time or desire to go through and fix them all. Everyone enjoys the adventure and loot all the same.

Is there an item or information from an adventure you have a specific question about?
