Is there a character generator for ED4 anywhere?

https://sourceforge.net/projects/ed-char-editor/ has a couple of bugs I know of: English generated sheet has W instead of D regard dice, and it flips a couble of the attributes. Otherwise, it's very nice.

Beware that you can export the generated character to different sheets. The most are English or German.

In case of PDFs, the PDFs are not generated, the editor just fill out the form fields of existing PDFs. Sometimes, the form field names are mixed within the PDFs, without I have recognized it. So, if someone sees that values are in the wrong fields, just let me known. Or you can directly modify the form field mapping XML-files on your own (stored in the template folder).

Is there anything compatible with apple?

I presume that the web version of steps will at least work fine.

my problem is that it won't save. I can’t find any option to open the document on my mac.

If you can get onto the FASA discord, I suggest contacting Lars, who is behind Steps. he might be able to figure out what's not working for you.
