I'm noticing the following note about T'skrang in both the 1st Edition Denizens and 3rd Edition Namegivers of Barsaive:


Though Shivoam, the great mother goddess of the Serpent River, has blessed us with gills, we t’skrang can only remain underwater for ten minutes at a time before needing to come up for air.

I was wondering if this was actually canon? I'm kinda surprised such an ability not listed in the Racial Abilities of T'skrang in the Player's handbook of ANY edition.

It's not under the racial, but if you dive deep enough into the swimming and drowning rules you'll find it.
