Rumor: Some dwarves have shown up outside the gates of Throal, saying that they are from the very recently opened Kaer of Bagburimm. Bagburimm used to be a lucrative trading partner for Throal, and the Throalic Merchant Storbout Cragdigger has lavished much attention on the travelers, trying to anticipate what trade goods would be most lucrative. The terrain between Throal and Bagburimm is extreme, and even back when a road existed parties overland travel rates were less than half flatland travel rates. but no sign of the road remains, and the travelers say it took them a month to find their way to Throal as much of the terrain is simply impassible and their ancient maps are almost useless, as they swear that whole mountains have been displaced or changed shape. Cragdigger is anxious to have a route surveyed and to be in possession of a map of a good route. At a minimum the route needs to be passable by pack mules, though a wagon route would be better.
Location: 46,10 Bagburimm, A good sized underground city about one weeks travel from Throal (only 3 hexes away, but even after a road is established it will still take 7 days to travel it due to extreme mountainous terrain).
