Shadow Throw: The adept throws two weapons at a target during the same attack, adding +2 Damage. Projectiles must be throwing weapons at the adept’s minimum weapon size.
The adept may spend a Karma Point on a Charisma-based test when not being entirely truthful, but not telling a complete lie either.
The adept may spend a Karma Point on Initiative tests.
The adept may spend a Karma Point on Damage tests made with weapons at their minimum one-handed size. It must be a throwing weapon.

There is no reason for a windling spear to have this many barbs. This is a nightmare toothpick crossed with a sadist’s coat-rack. Some of the larger barbs have smaller barbs all their own. Somehow, this tiny awful thing seems well balanced for throwing; probably because anyone in possession of this horrible weapon will immediately want to get it as far away from them as possible.

Key Knowledge: The owner must learn about the spear’s first victim (Make up a tragic story). Effect: The wielder gains the Add Injury to Injury special maneuver. Add Injury to Injury (Wielder, Thrown Weapons): The wielder may spend extra successes on a Thrown Weapons attack to reduce the target’s Wound Threshold by -3 per success for this attack (and only this attack).

This suit of hide armor has been crafted from a single skulk hide. Its scales seem to shimmer as they subtly shift across hues of green, grey, brown, and rust. The armor has a high collar and is long enough to guard the wearer’s thighs. When a Thread is woven, it sizes to fit its wearer, and even opens up gaps for wings or tail.

A fine crafted mask of gold and silver, a series of eight vertical panels. Each panel has intricate filigree across the surface . When not worn, the mask fold directly in the center of the panels.. The back of the mask is a black silk that hangs slightly below the plates. While the silk is very light and thin is quite opaque.

Unseen Voice The middle four plates of the mask articulate backwards over the other plates to reveal a set of thick red lips embroidered onto the mask. The mouth begins to visibly move to onlookers when the user speaks. The wearer can sync the mask to his voice or have it remain inert with a Free action.

Effect: The mask provides a +1 Mimic Voice. Unseen Voice now allows the mask to remain inert and project the sound of the users voice from another location within 10 yards.

Key Knowledge: Where the mask was made. (Widowforge) Effect: The mask provides +1 Rank of Speak Language. Unseen Voice can now be controlled to mouth the spoken words in a different language than the user is speaking.

Effect: The mask provides +2 Ranks of Speak Language Unseen Voice can now be controlled to mouth words different from what the user is speaking. Make a Speak Language (8) test as a simple action to mouth a coherent sentence.

She and her sister Sarell lost their parents in the exodus from the King of Crows. Even though the Almarra were accepted into the city, that did not mean they had it easy. Work was scarce. The only job she could find for a time was working on the river boats to and from Lake Ban. Being a windling, working near the water was not an ideal situation. After months of pleading, she was finally accepted as an adept and now seeks to make a living for herself and her sister.
