Well, the gossips in Throal are buzzing today. Seems the Honorable Lord Pompoznav of House Ueraven, Questor of Chorrolis, is rumored to actually be desperate enough that he’s willing to allow a bare minimum of coin to be pried out of his greasy, fat-fingered little hands.
The profit margins at one of his Lordship’s mines are rumored to have dropped below 15,000%, and His Lordship is beside himself, yelling obscenities at his retainers and howling curses at the ungrateful mine workers in his employ.
It seems the miners have put forth, would you believe it, a DEMAND, that His Lordship address the beast that is taking their children. The Nerve! They CLAIM they cannot focus properly on their work while the lost children’s mothers are wailing in the streets in despair. It was enough to put his Lordship off his pudding after the feast the other night!
Interested parties should call upon Master Thain Bookbinder, His Lordship’s Serjeants-at-law, who will be interviewing prospective, and inexpensive, adventurers. Master Thain can be found in the Scrivener’s section of the Grand Bazaar.

No matter your opinion of His Lordship, the outside-of-Throalic-Guild-protections mining town His Lordship has set up, or the mine workers desperate enough to take the work on offer, a beast taking children needs to be stopped. Of course, tis a shame the greedy Questor will be the one footing the bill for the bounty…
