Our Party left Throal and traveled along the north side of the coil river, after two uneventful days we made it to a part of the road where some trees had been over turned and blocked the path in front. our party came to a halt when a human with a bow stepped out behind some trees. he informs us at the roads are very dangerous and if our party pays 25sp each him and his friends can escort us through the woods safely. Us all being representatives of Throal don't accept such a offer. I exclaim that I don't even have 25sp to my name. Our T'skrang swordsmen Talla approaches the man trying to reason and he reaches for his bow to attack. they exchange blows and out of the wood work comes his friends firing arrows at our party. In all the fighting we barely notice that some of the bandits are getting pulled off into ponds that are dotting the woods. after we are victorious we investigate the ponds and see that they have underwater caves. Me and Talla our T'skrang investigate and find that it is a vast system of underwater caves that connect around here. not wanting to split the party we decide to follow some tracks across land that lead off. finding that they lead to the entrance of a cave where we see Bog Gobs feeding the captured bandits to a large sticky gob I forgot this things name but I didn't want to mess with it. However seeing that there was a cave near by we decided as representatives of Throal it is our duty to check if any survivors of other attacks remain inside. We fought off several bog gobs and I was a little worst for wear by the end but we succeeded and upon investigation we found survivors of a recent attack and lead them safely back to throal. To any adepts reading this please consider making a strong team to go deal with the monster those gobs were feeding...

Notes of Dalyor, Elf Wizard of First Circle.

A couple caravans had left to explore the routes leading to Lake Ban. Although several had left, not a single one has returned. I was hired to scout what could have happened to these people, along with U'k'talla the T'Skrang Swordmaster, Icarus Wolf-Swift the Human Air Sailor, and Boshahk the Ork Shaman.

Travelling outside was fun again, that I spent taking notes about the different kinds of Flora and Fauna we saw. Spending the nights, however, was entirely different than in Irondelve or Throal, or even travelling with a huge caravan between these two. The utter silence at night sharpens one's ears while keeping watch, enabling to find critters and insects by their sounds only.

Further it should be noted that taking too many notes during travel is not optimal. While being generally rather perceptive, we all failed to spot a very clear ambush laid for us. However also these Bandits failed to spot some creatures that pulled them down into nearby water holes.

After disposing of the Bandits and resting, we started to investigate these ponds. There was a plethora of footprints around the water holes, and smeary tracks leading into or away from the water. It was smudged so heavily that we couldn't really tell. Boshahk must have read some scripts in the library and determined that these creatures must be Bog Gobs. Within the ponds were holes leading down into water-filled caverns.

Following the tracks on the dry side we spotted a massive slug-like being called a "Globberog", a 100-150 feet tall pile of rubbish, skeletons and plants stuck to a disgusting slug-like pile of meat. Interestingly the Bog Gobs carried the Bandits they caught to this being and threw them at it. The bandits immediately stuck in place, while tentacles erupted from the Globberog and sucked all life and mass out of the Bandits, leaving a hollow shell.
We decided to press into a cave that the Bog Gobs' tracks lead into and search for other survivors. The cave was illuminated by a wide assortment of Crystals in differnet colors. We were promptly greated by more Bog Gobs. Pressing further on and getting slightly wet we found several Namegivers locked away, unconscious, among piles of clothes, equipment and bones.

We led the survivors back to Throal and reported the monstrosity to the proper authorities.

Please find attached notes on multispectral living crystal and the behaviour of Bandits, Bog Gobs, and a Globberog.
