Next in the Akkadian Connection

I'm reading back over the GM guide about the Gruv, and has got my creative juices going. Are you planning on releasing a Gruv book concurrent with the next Akkadian adventure like you did with the London & Big Trouble book? And then have the third adventure released with another area book? That would be awesome.

The plan right now is to release either the Fort Alice gazetteer or the Saurids book in parallel with Akkadian Connection #2. We've been debating back and forth about whether we need to do the Fort Alice book first, or the Saurids book, and are leaning toward the Fort Alice book. Akkadian Connection #3 will come out in parallel with the Samsut book.

Hmm, my first instinct is Fort Alice also. On the other hand, I feel I could run an adventure in Fort Alice based on what is in the London book and the GM book. The Saurids, not so much. There are rules for making the characters, but I don't know enough about their culture. And when the first Saurids come through the portal ... Plus, then by the time the last book in the series comes out, there is a sourcebook for each of the three major civilizations.

It would be cool to see a really good book set in subsaharan Africa, by the way. Or Mexico or India. Some part of the world that kind of gets ignored by the role-playing industry.

We're already in negotiations for an Indian writer for the Raj sourcebook. Mexihco will get its book eventually.
