Artist
“I am always doing what I can’t do yet in order to learn how to do it.” - Anonymous Dutch painter
The artist is driven by curiosity and passion, bordering sometimes on obsession. Many pursue artistic interests, but the artist is concerned with the grand idea. He may believe that nearly any means justifies the end that he has dedicated his life to. Some big ideas might include Aesthetics (the experience of beauty is the meaning of life), Naturalist (learning about and documenting the natural world), Political (a movement or party), Humanitarianism (improving the human condition), Religious (advancing the interests of a particular religion), or Scientific (increasing the the sum of human knowledge).
