this is fairly detailed. Of note, 1879 is only 8 years after German Unification.

Also of note is that Lassalle survived his duel with the Count of Wallachia, and sold von Bismarck on the idea of socialism. It's implemented in a very non-egalitarian way in Prussia, resulting in a highly stratified society with an anthill mentality. The Freikorps are where adventurers will usually come from, the Prussians trying to organize those who don't organize properly. We've got a Prussia book in the schedule, but it's a ways out, after the Players and GM's Companions and the Fort Alice and Saurid books.

Re: information on Prussia (German Empire)
oh cool
A thought that occurred to me is that to make it's armies more efficient, Prussia might start researching and gathering information on the various meta types with regards to physiognomy (caloric intake needed daily for marches per metatype, per previous ethnic background), general level of exercise needed daily to keep them fit, and develop the most efficient way to get them trained up. This would probably be a military secret

That's a very German stereotype, one that would be fascinating to see. "We're sort of accepting, but only because we like you as shock troops"
