I got to play my first ED4 game this past weekend at GaryCon XI (despite backing the Kickstarter and having both the physical and PDFs for offered books, I still haven't got to play ED4. VERY. SAD.), and it was fun. I don't know if the GM Kyle hops on here, but wanted to say thanks to him for letting me sit in at the last second. He did a great job running the 4 hour adventure. It totally scratched my Earthdawn itch, making me want more.
Also, in case they happen to jump on here and see this, thank you to the family of six (3 kids and 3 adults) that booked Kyle for the entire GaryCon for some serious family Earthdawn time and let me join. The youngest Daughter was a hoot AND a beast with her Beastmaster. She knew her stuff.
Makes me want to GM some ED next year at GaryCon. I might have to check into the LoB stuff.
