New Novice/journeyman spells?

With ED4, we had some reduction in spell lists for the magicians. To be fair, a good chunk of it makes sense - no two Disciplines share a spell in ED4 while this was common before. IIRC, Player Companions focus exclusively on the Master/Warden tiers (except for Knacks, since this is the first publication addressing those), meaning any spells included would only be at these upper tiers.
So, the question(s): Will the ED4 Player's Companion include new Novice/Journeyman spells? If not, do we anticipate any committed products (e.g., Travar, Questors) to include new spells at these tiers? No sense talking uncommitted products - if they come to fruition, they'll be WAAAAAY in the future.

Re: New Novice/journeyman spells?
The Companion is not going to have any Novice/Journeyman spells.
The first book after Questors is going to be a magic supplement, where we include a bunch of new spells (of various tiers), among other things.

Good to know; thanks.
Re: New Novice/journeyman spells?
On that note, in which book will we find the Shaman that Morgan teased on his blog?
Re: New Novice/journeyman spells?
That's a likely candidate for that book. We haven't discussed more than the barest outline of what will be in it.

Where does the timeline stand on the Companion? I haven't been able to keep up with things like I used to due to work and life. I am looking forward to it though and I just finished my novel trilogy read through.

Mataxes can chime in with more up-to-date info, but I would personally expect it in the fall. I think the last timeline provided was something like "hopefully by the end of the first have of the year."
Re: New Novice/journeyman spells?
We're hoping (fingers crossed) that the Companion will be out in time for GenCon, which is at the end of August. This would mean going to the printer in June...
It's doable. Discipline progressions and talents are done (barring tweaks and minor changes). Knacks are in good shape, airships chapter is in revisions, as is the enchanting chapter. Magic items, creatures, masks, Horrors, Dragons... stats and stuff for all of those are done, we just need to go through and decide what stays and what goes.

Re: New Novice/journeyman spells?
Uhhhhh ... did I missing something? Are we talking about the same Companion? Why would horror and dragon information, especially stat blocks, be in the Player's Companion??
Re: New Novice/journeyman spells?
Because there's only one Companion. It contains player and GM info.
Like the original rulebook.
