Re: Replacement Talent for Haggle
well, for what it's worth, I took the time to check the errata, and that makes it a bit more clear: "Haggle, Page 152 Clarification: Each side makes all their tests independently, they do not alternate tests." So who rolls faster, gets more tests? Because the Players Guide itself says (and isn't re...

Re: Replacement Talent for Haggle
I have two primary complaints. A strict, literal reading of the RAW (4th Edition) is broken as it only gives you a +/-5% change in price, max. That is per test, and you get Rank x tests per negotiation. Haggling is a competition, you can roll multiple times (so can the merchant) and the total succe...

Re: Replacement Talent for Haggle
I don't see a way how you would be able to abuse it  You get a 5% discount if successful. You lose 5% if the merchant is successful. Items being sold by a player don't sell for 100% of the buying price. ~30% for used armor, weapons, etc. ~50-75% for other items. With haggle you might be able ...

Suppress Curse
Hello together, has anyone ever found a use for the talent Suppress Curse? Since it only lasts a few rounds and takes a action to use, I never found a reason to use it at all. If it's a spell, it's better to just neutralize it completely. If it's a curse, it normally lasts several hours or even days...

Re: Fun time spirit [Spirit]
I would add the rules for traps.
Also I wouldn't give it a namegivers language but instead use spirit talk. Gives the Nethermancer more spotlight
But I like the idea and am a big fan of Mimics myself

Re: Cavalrymen should have the slowest mounts possible?
Just change the rule like this and it works and makes sense: "To make a charging attack, the rider must move towards the target in a relatively straight line at a speed of 10 or higher (using the mount’s standard action to move)." Havn't checked the MR of the available mounts yet. Perhaps a 12 or ev...

Re: How do Non-Adepts Journey on the Wheel? (Elvish Spiritual Belief)
What bothered me far more was that almost all the elves named follow other disciplines than needed for the Journey on the Wheel. So the Bloodwood's / Wyrmwood's palace, the (previous) centre of the elvish culture, were all disbelievers? :| I would have liked a few sentences how it came to the discip...
