Re: Spell Matrices and Multi-Disciplines
So to sum up... having 4 spellcasting diciplines, aside from the high legend point costs ( personally dont think they are cripplingly high considering the amount of dicipline talents that can be picked up, and the fact each circle increases on the Fibonacci scale) A 4 dicipline caster is still only ...

Re: Spell Matrices and Multi-Disciplines
Im prolly wrong, but think im right....if u multi to another caster type...which in itself is not really within the balance/design of the game, you dont keep getting two free matrix each time you add a caster class...you just get the original 2 free ones. Someone with more experience than me will of...

Re: Problems with circle advancement and balancing
ohhh i wholeheartedly agree its a player thing and so not a rules problem/issue, i was just sharing. Overlaps in talents are important in my view..our gm often if its applicable often lets players combine talent overlaps to either lower target numbers if one player assists another, or grant addition...

Re: Problems with circle advancement and balancing
Optimisers are an out and out pain in any system...we had to take out human versatility, and Multi-Dicipline before we even created chars, as one player would work the system to build a char, while the others just created chars. All systems suffer from that to some degree....apart from having to alt...

Re: Problems with circle advancement and balancing
Our groups just a bunch of friends and never changes.... everyone just gets the same reward regardless of circle...we track legend point totals from campaign and if anyone died or wanted a change, or a new player joined, could just create a char with the overall legend point total. Of course the opt...

Re: Heat Armour Spell
All good.
My next question was going to be blood pebble!...then a final question was going to be natural armour...like obsidiman armour on the armour table....or monster carapaces and the like....im assuming not, just want to clarify.

Does it effect any type of armour?

Re: Penalties to "all tests" vs "action tests" vs Resistance tests.
As Badlore said its not how our table plays it (also backed up by Mataxes recent comment). We dont do double negatives with actions and effects generally...it leads to horrible circumstances where one minute you are ok, take a decent hit and suddenly pretty much useless... its just the way we do it/...
