Re: I Love Earthdawn But...
Run DnD with the Corestep Engine! Add some hobbits, take out the trolls, change orcs to half-orcs, etc. It's not that much of a stretch. Pretty much all of the published Earthdawn stuff could be dropped into a Tolken setting. It's funny, most "I love Earthdawn but ..." goes the other way. I like th...

Re: Attacking to Stun
I didn't explain myself clearly enough
My issue is that the Stun rules do not allow a character to stun a target with one successful attack (it'll be very rare even with exploding dice)

Attacking to Stun
Page 383 : Attacking To Stun "The character makes a non-lethal attack against his opponent. He makes a close combat Attack test as normal, but any damage inflicted to his opponent is recorded as Stun damage. If the Stun damage sends a character’s Current Damage higher than his Unconsciousness or De...

Re: Illusion Spells

Illusion Spells
Page 267 : " ...an illusory bridge would hold no weight " Page 267 : " ...character’s body will react as if the illusion is real if possible—for example, bumping into an illusory wall, or banging their shin on the illusion of a table " I'm confused, is an illusion tangible (bridge) or not (wall/tab...
