Group Pattern threads & enhancing Thread Weaving
I was wondering whether the subject was even an option. Having a possibility of 19 active threads and as a caster improved casting ability. I would of course suspect that should these threads be used for items then when working alone the threads would unravel and cause the adept to lose the LP inves...

Re: Initiative talk
That is how we run the game as well. I think we had proper format for maybe two sessions until everyone was clear on the rules then changed to declare stance then roll initiative. Works pretty well for us. Some of the players, especially the casters roll their Thread weaving etc during other people'...

The walls are crystal clear so you can stand on the outside and look in, giving the impression that it was an old arena or museum. There's a weak ward on the door and spike traps beyond the room to give the ...

Re: Believable leads
Please excuse me if I do not understand your question completely. I blame being a none-native user living in a country where the language isn't used at all. ... Right now they are in the Southern Catacombs looking for a merchant son. They will find his corpse in a room, which is basically a trap set...

Believable leads
I'm reaching out because I'm admitting defeat and have lost the trust in my own creative abilities. In my current campaign a group of Raggok cultists have the cartoonish plot that they are trying to destabilize an entire region near Travar by luring all the heirs of the merchants and nobles to Parla...

Re: Earthdawn Media Inspirations
Fallout strangely enough. I try to capture that feeling of newness and unexpected mystique that is always there whenever you leave a vault for the first time. In FO you know you'll encounter an apocalyptic wasteland with familiar elements, but it's always different, presented in a new captivating wa...

Re: Adding Karma
At our table we allow the karma dice to be rolled afterwards. The reasoning behind it could be that the Passions or the magical nature of adepts warp fate in their favor.

Re: I Love Earthdawn But...
Do away with airships, fire boats and cannons, keep Theran flying forts rare. Maybe the problem is Barsaive is not very feudal as a society. It isn't oppressive but rather gives me at least the feeling that there's hope. Earthdawn is about rediscovery rather than preserving status que which most oth...
