Re: Earthdawn Companion?
I'm curious as to why an Arancia book? Put simply? Somebody* sent in a proposal that looked interesting. And it's not just "Talea redux." * That somebody being Julien Pirou, who's GM for the Earthdawn Acual Play "Roleplay" on NoLife (a French gaming channel), and has been a big supporter of ED4 in ...

Re: Earthdawn Companion?
I'm curious as to why an Arancia book? Of all the provinces outside of Barsaive it has to be one of the least interesting. The Theran Empire book didn't even bother detailing it outside of saying; 'basically the same as Talea'. With high-adventure provinces like Marac and Vasgothia just begging to ...

Re: Shossara
Anyone here know if there is any cannon content about Shossara anywhere in the books of any edition? Especially it's exact location? That is beside the little tidbits in Blood Wood and the vague arrow pointing north in the Theran book? Also: was the fact that 1/3 of Spain is missing on the Theran m...

Re: Theran Name-givers 4th Edition
I liked the concept of the Leafers in the Theran Empire book, but was totally turned off by their unisex and rigidly territorial natures (really, let's make the plant-characters _even_more_alien_ than the Obsidimen? really?). May have to check this out later. I honestly don't think that the writers...

Re: Theran Name-givers 4th Edition
As a small update, I have added the in character information on the Leafers from the Vasgothia sourcebook I was working on. This contains all the word count on Leafers from the Theran Empire and brand new and expanded in character accounts and information designed to flesh out the Leafers and their ...

Re: Theran Name-givers 4th Edition
You're welcome. My issue with the Name-givers in the Theran Empire book is that none of them are particularly playable, so that was something I wanted to correct. The book itself is quite interesting, it can be a bit hit and miss with some of the provinces but it's worth it just for Vasgothia. I'm c...

Theran Name-givers 4th Edition
Hey all, I did originally post some of this content on the old Fasa forums, but I thought I'd put it here. I'm currently working on expanding the information from the 1st edition Theran Empire book for 4th Edition as I'm planning a Theran campaign soon. Firstly, I'm updating the four Name-giver race...
