Re: A New Book of Dragons
Our working title for the Iopos book was "Pawns of the Dragon" and would have look at not just Iopos and the Denairastas, but also the troll moot and t'skrang aropagoi (House Ishkarat I believe) aligned with them. I also seem to recall mention of a community of windlings near Iopos that might be am...

Re: Circle 15
The trainer needs to be at least the Circle you are advancing to. So, a Circle 15 trainer can train an adept to C15.
Which, given how few living adepts reach such lofty heights, you're likely looking at ghost masters.

Re: Lifestyles of the rich and the others
As I've gotten older, I've become more of a fan of abstract wealth mechanics. I don't think it plays well into the typical "loot forgotten kaers and tombs" aesthetic that goes along with traditional tabletop fantasy gaming, but I like it. How did you determine the base monthly cost? My gut reaction ...

I've still got the cast photos from my high school production of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. I played Senex.

Re: Kubla Con
Con games aren't generally so much about story . I mean, they are, but that story is, generally, much shorter and more basic because you want the opportunity to finish it in a single (suually 4-hour) session. I look at convention games as demos and hooks. I've got... half a dozen now, usually Novice...

Re: A New Book of Dragons
I'm not keen on a "new" Dragons book. Not only was there the ED1 PDF release and the ED2 version, but it also provided a lot of the info in the ED3 GM Companion. Much like releasing a "new" Namegivers book, or "new" Serpent River... it treads too closely to the "reprint everything for the new editio...

Re: Core Earthdawn Book Layout?
ED4 uses the same digest format. It is a little different in how it presents the Disciplines. Each is a two-page spread: Swordmaster.jpg So going through to see your "options" is more straightforward. The table of contents also lists them. (The ED4 TOC is two pages, double-column, so it's a lot more...
