Re: Illusionist Fog of Jeer spell - some questions
According to the spell description the Harried and Aggressive status only apply to actions taken inside the Fog. I suppose if you had someone holding their action that was able to attack at range they would be hitting someone with -2 for being Harried, but that's pretty chancy. -5 if they started t...

Re: Illusionist Fog of Jeer spell - some questions
No, Yes, Yes. If a spell affects all targets in an area, it affects all targets within the area. One prime example of what spells like this can be used for is zone control. If you have a doorway and want to slow people going through it or jam people up in it, giving them a -5 to their Physical Defen...

Re: New Earthdawn Podcast!
Here's my perception. Right now, it seems like you're trying to make your audience "Earthdawn players," and I think that's an awfully large net to cast. Whether you break your podcast into segments (single show, each episode covers 4 topics, each topic has a bookmark so people can skip around), epi...

Re: Spliced Weave
Glad to hear this. As I said in some other thread, wasn't sure if the previews were meant explicitly as a "sneak peek" or a "hey, here's what we're planning, but there's still room for changes if necessary, so speak up [respectfully]". The experience so far with the FASA Games Crew has been: 1. The...

Earthdawn Miniatures Kickstarter, Part 2
You may remember a while back, Impact! Miniatures ran an Earthdawn Miniatures Kickstarter reviving the old Heartbreaker Miniatures. They're currently doing a big bundle Kickstarter of resin recasts of all sorts of OOP minis and the current set of Stretch Goals is the rest of the Earthdawn figs. Orks...

Re: High Circle Preview: Elementalist
Plant Talk strikes me like it would be much better as an Elemental Tongues Knack instead of a Warden Discipline Talent. Plant Talk was originally a First Circle Spell and it was underpowered there. I had assumed they had simply moved it to being a Companion Spell when ED4 came out without it. I thi...

Re: Book binding (softcover)
Were you able to do it with the existing spine in place, or did you have to cut it off? Since you've got some practical experience, might be good for you to lay out as much of your experience as possible. The existing spine had to be cut off. The spiral binding would render the book unopenable othe...

Re: Book binding (softcover)
I've found some suggestions for having them spiral-bound at an office supply store, but haven't looked into it. I was able to do it with my softcover ED2 books and they came out very nicely. I'm a little concerned about the depth of the book, though. Make sure you have someone who really knows what...

Re: Book binding (softcover)
My game group had four softcover players' guides and while there was some cover loosening, no pages have fallen out. We played every week for a year and a half.
