first aid on animals as halfmagic
some discipline's half magic allows them to use it as "first aid" on animals. How do u implement it (if at all)? Can they use their half-magic like they had physician skill? That feels a little overpowered.

Re: questors
I completely understand what u wrote and - as I see it - still nothing indicates that reaching "level 4 questor+4 novice devotions" is hard (according to rulebook), nor that it *should be made hard by the DM* nor that it *could be made hard by a realistic DM roleplaying the passion*. You seem to imp...

Re: questors
thanks! However your conclusion (constant devotion needed in order to advance) - as I see it - doesnt follow from ur premises (must not deviate too much from ideals, must complete quest to get to higher tier). I guess u see that too, right? According to the rules u quoted: once i became a questor (f...

questors
i might be missing something but do i see it correctly that becoming a 4th circle questor doesnt require much of questing/religious lifestlye (whatever it might mean). The deeds are only needed for getting back devotion points, right? (in previous editions u had to lead a somewhat comited lifestyle ...

shaking off with willpower
1) how frequently can the target of a steely stare try to shake off the effect? each round? 2) what kind of action it is? simple, standard? 3) if its not a standard action then can he attack in the same round? that in practice would give the target two separate chances at resisting: one with his SD ...

economics
It might be contained in the rulebooks, but i cant find it now. Are there any rules/guidelines about: 1) how much does an average craftsman, for instance a carpenter, earn daily? 2) how much a player character can earn w an appropriate skill? 3) how much an "ok-ish" house cost in - say - bartertown?...

Re: combat tactics
thanks telarus!
(to ianir: also thx for ur attempt at answering, but im looking for a satisfactory and simple way to model "real" situations not to tailor the events/circumstances to the players' feelings/needs).
to telarus: why dex instead of initiative? would that give initiative too much value?

combat tactics
As GM how do you handle combat positioning regarding the defense of glass-cannons by their companions/bodyguards? In previous editions there was an optional rule about winning initiative in order to gain free movement (breaking away from melee). Im not sure if there arent any more satisfactory handl...

dog
In the GM's guide, doesnt the description of the simple "dog" on page 277 miss a number about the tracking skill of the dog? Or is it simply a step 6 (=untrained)? It might be an oversight, considering all the other dogs have a number on it.
