Re: Distribution of races
Thanks. That helped a lot. I've already talked to the players in my group where a LGF transformation could happen, and gotten their OK, with some caveats. There was even a risk/chance of things happening when the characters came from Earthdawn, through the Rabbit Hole. Nothing happened to the charac...

Re: Distribution of races
I would like to try and present NPCs distributed as correctly as possible, statistically, though I would assume there is a social class aspect to it as well (at least in official statistics, and because of chance of survival depending on the care you receive during the transformation). And who knows...

Re: Distribution of races
Yes, I agree on the in game lack of correct numbers. But as in Earthdawn I wondered if there were any information regarding that just for game masters and players, not intended for characters. For example, if one character would transform, what are the chances of him or her to turn into one of the d...

Distribution of races
In Earthdawn (at least earlier editions) you could find information about how common the different races were in Barsaive, with ratios in percent. I've looked through the books for 1879 for that information, but haven't found any. Are there any numbers for how the different races are distributed in ...

Re: Explosions and bombs
This is great, and just what I needed to continue planning for the next session in my campaign. Thanks!

Explosions and bombs
I've looked through the books for some information about damage from explosions, and haven't really found very much, more than Depth Charges and Torpedoes (PG, p290). They both gives three Step 25 Damage. But I was wondering what Damage a smaller explosive contraption would cause, like a hand grenad...

New Profession: The Priest Investigator - Now with Spell List
I finally managed to choose the spells for a spell list for the Priest Investigator profession I posted a while ago. The spells were, to some degree, chosen with the fact in mind that the profession was created for a character who comes from Barsaive, Earthdawn, who wants to try and spread the teach...

Map of London (England and Wales)
I just found this historical map that I found very helpful for me, even though it is from 1893-96, and thought I'd share it here: http://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/#zoom=17&lat=51.5143&lon=-0.1064&layers=163&b=1 You can search and zoom, like on Google Maps, but with a historical map overlay, or somethi...

Re: New Profession: The Priest Investigator
Don't worry, I have everything from every previous edition already Me and the players in the Earthdawn 1879 thread started playing ED 1993 ... (And boy was I happy when I read the news that Fasa was back on Earthdawn! And then when I understood was 1879 was about, oh man...)

Re: New Profession: The Priest Investigator
Similar to what I was thinking. Now I just have to wait until the Passion Sourcebook is written and released (or I guess I could go to previous editions' sources ...)
