As for 4e... patience is my only counsel. But I would give them +5 damage per additional success.
Wow, this would make True Shot a bit too powerful with fire cannons, I would even think of adding one on a cart and have our obsidian pull it to oneshot each horror or dragon I meet

Re: Legends Of Barsave Modules

But don't forget, that because this adventures were designed for cons, you can finish them each in around 4 hours. You can put other storys / quests between the single adventures, but the campaign will continue very slowly for your group having to wait some month for just another 4 hours of play. I'...

Re: Armor Penalties

I know the penaltie aplies for climbing.
Swimming I'm not sure, but I'd handle it the same way.
But I wouldn't apply this rule for stealth.
As long as you're slow enough, you can always ignore the sounds an heavy armor would make.

It can also be derived of this rule:
p. 33 of the players guide wrote:Regardless of modifiers, the minimum result on any test is 1.
And of course the Rule of One.
But yes, you're right: a clean Rule doesn't exist and a negative Defense could still be interesting for the success levels.

Re: Spot Armor Flaw Target

Hello, all. According to the rules, Spot Armor Flaw rolls "against the higher of the target’s or his armor’s Mystic Defense." In the case of a Namegiver opponent, does this mean I compare it's Perception-based Mystic Defense against the MD of the armor alone rather than their modified total defense...

Re: Entertainer Talent for Troubadour

You can still use the optional rule from the companion on page 435: The purpose of Free Talents is to provide characters of certain Disciplines with tools and abilities they are expected to have that may not directly influence play very often. These talents should increase as the character advances ...

Still 2:

Re: Item with Thread Weaving bonus

It doesn't seem to be higher than in other editions.
And I also never had problems with reattuning.
I could only see a problem there when you're playing an obsidiman or troll and just have a D4 as Karma dice.

Re: Item with Thread Weaving bonus

Never played 1E. Why are you able to cast faster with an higher thread weaving talent? Just looked it up, it works just the same as in other editions: With high enough a roll you can weave multiple threads at once. But I never had problems with weaving threads and just one to three more rank...
