Just dropping by to say that slowly uncovering the whole secret about Denairastas over multiple years in our Campaign was one of the coolest experiences I had in playing Pen and Paper RPGs.

Isn't the rule of 3 a thing anymore? I remember back in 2. Edition there was the optional rule, that an action could only profit from the three highest "buffs". Personally I think that what can take the balance out of whack quite a bit is a group pattern. The difference between having one or not can...

Probably the biggest difference between canon Barsaive and mine is the prevalence and especially the distribution of airships. In my setting the only factions able to actually craft airships are Jerris (which is now controlled by Iopos and does not trade them freely anymore), Travar, Throal and the ...

Yeah, the old difficulty when dealing with 'canon' in PnP RPGs. You always build on a basic foundation provided by the authors, but ultimately it's you as a GM who decides on what the world is or is not. Or rather you and your group, as I subscribe heavily to the cooperative storytelling philosophy....
