Re: ED4 Mystic Path Journeyman Knack

You can use more than one knack, though using a knack counts as using the talent. So you can use a Maneuver knack and an Acrobatic Defense knack in the same round, but cannot use Maneuver and a Maneuver knack. Unless a knack specifically states otherwise, which applies to all Karma knacks (p. 213): ...

Re: ED4 MysticPath Knack Requirments

That was copied and pasted verbatim from the errata and clarifications document. The print version uses the same PDF file and was submitted many months ago (at the same time the PDF was released), despite how long it is taking.

Re: ED4 MysticPath Knack Requirments

Greetings, If a Path requirement can only be reasonably met through a skill (e.g. artisan or knowledge), a skill can meet the requirement. If there is a common talent (e.g. Melee Weapons), the talent must still be used. Speaking and reading and writing a language require only the ability to do so, r...

Re: ED4 Mystic Path Journeyman Knack

Greetings, That understanding is incorrect. You are not required to choose the talent the knacks apply to. If this was the case, it would spell out how you need to choose that talent when the knack is learned. However, each knack can only be used once per round. If you want to spend Karma on talents...

Re: Fourth Edition Errata, Clarifications, and FAQs

Greetings,

It applies to close combat attacks, not just unarmed attacks. I updated the errata to reflect this.

Thank you and best regards,

Re: Sunlight Shaman spell

I don't know how many different ways I can say and explain this. If you don't want to believe me, there's nothing left to be said. A spell with "Range: Self" can only target the caster unless the caster has a way to change that range such the Fifth Circle Wizard Karma ability . The additional text r...

Re: Sunlight Shaman spell

Correct, but to cast it on another target, you need an external ability to do so. Such as the Fifth Circle Wizard Karma ability. The range is "Self", meaning without such an ability, the only target is the caster. That text is in case of such an ability, the static Difficulty isn't used. You're over...
