Re: Mystic Paths Orbiting Watcher

Greetings,

No, it hasn't as of yet. It's in the manuscript for the next big book I'm doing on magic (including knacks and spells). It seemed prudent to maintain the connection to simplify cross-referencing.

Hopefully this clears everything up.

Best regards,

Morgan

addendum: the withered are the best damn zombies in fiction.

Re: Questions for Mystic Paths

Greetings, As Sharkforce correctly indicates, the talent Rite of Kho'pesh gives Outcasts Honor Points. With the exception of Harden Heart, all the knacks that use Honor Points are for Rite of Kho'pesh. The statement "refreshes" can imply they were around before, but they are granted through the tale...

Re: Nightflyer's Cloak, what can I turn into?

Greetings, There isn't a list, but the way of defining it is as you noted: noctural and flying. Nocturnal creatures typically have it listed in their description; a way to double-check is seeing if they have an ability to perceive at night, such as Enhanced Sense [Sight]: Low-Light Vision. Shadowman...

Re: questors vs path?

Greetings, Characteristic bonuses were added to questors in 4E to support them as standalone characters. While this is great for just questors, but can create the wrong incentive for an adept to questor for a Passion—the relatively cheap bonuses, rather than the quest itself. While the game is about...

Re: Shaman Circle 3 Karma Ability

Greetings, It's entirely fair their Third Circle Karma ability is comparatively limited when it first shows up, only really coming into its own at Fifth Circle with Summon (Beast Spirits). Karma on Recovery tests at Third Circle isn't thematic for the Discipline, particularly when compared to other ...

Re: Shaman Circle 3 Karma Ability

Greetings, It's intended for use with the Summon talent and associated interactions—this includes interactions with spirits encountered outside of being summoned. Applying it to attacking spells (e.g., Invoke Crow Tear) starts to provide more benefits than similar Karma abilities, particularly with ...

Re: Booster Potion Vs. Last Chance spell

Greetings, Depends on how GM's view an unconscious person's ability to swallow. It's typically viewed as "poor" at best. However, the Recovery test made through last chance salves benefits from a booster potion. If you can feed things to someone in that condition, then they benefit from a booster po...
