I pitted my players against a Bone Shambler and the group illusionist stopped it in its tracks by using the Stop Right There (complete with Meat Loaf moves and extra lyrics). It got me wondering. I'm with you on this one. A trained mount should be able to stalk if the rider keeps quiet and low.

It does sound like you are Re-Naming or at least having your Pattern Rewoven if you go to that extreme. Your character could make the conscious choice simply not to use the abilities without going through renaming and losing them. That would let you keep all active threads including group pattern. T...

Players need to wound their targets to poison their targets. NPCs or should I say monsters simply need to hit with their venomous parts.

Yes, group threads count towards the number of active threads you can have at any given time.

And yes, you can upgrade them at anytime you choose. The threads do not have to be at the same rank either, nor do you need five threads before you can upgrade the first.
