Re: Snark Karma
I'm interested in seeing your reasoning on this. Please trace your lines of thought and comment profusely. This has been brought up before, of course, with Earthdawn, but if you've got a better take on it, I want to see it and know how you got there.

OK, what specifically would you do? Have you got a table of racial advantages you can post?

Re: 1879: The Expendables
Beat it to death with a wheelbarrow? BWAHAHA Reminds me of the time I let a mist lynx loose aboard a private jet with a Shadowrun team. The thing kept going desolid, moving through the deck between the passenger compartment and the cargo hold. The decker, who had hidden in the galley, clocked it fro...

Re: Snark Karma
At some point, I need to point out the really major advantages that the Boojum races have in vision. Heat sight gives you way more than the game really explains. With training, you can read someone's pulse from a distance. You can tell what it is you're tracking in the dark by its heat signature. Yo...

Re: Snark Karma
This is deliberate. Snarks in 1879 are a little tougher than Earthdawn orks, getting the Cast Iron Stomach advantage that gives them resistance against bad food, strong drink, and ingested poisons. Re: Product Line Status?
Our apologies, we have had a series of problems with layout with the Companions. The Players Companion is in layout at this time. We hope to Kickstart it before GenCon.
Also, I'm out of hamsters. The postage on those got prohibitive anyway.

Re: Disease
Everybody hates the RAW for Disease and Infection because they're brutal. I keep saying, welcome to 1880. This isn't Earthdawn - it's meant to be a much more lethal environment.

Re: Books and other Resources
If you're interested in the Bone Wars period, which offers quite a bit of adventuring potential, I suggest the Biodviersty Library. They've got a collection of primary documents by Cope and Marsh here: https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/bro ... n/BoneWars

Re: What professions
Various things coming up. The Players Companion introduces the Cavalry variant of the Soldier, so you've got that for animals. The Saurids have the Packmaster, but that's a book or two down the road. The Brits are now fielding vulture handlers against the Samsut, so there's the option for a bird han...
