Re: Calendars

Here is a Google Sheets Calendar I made. You can duplicate the template to create a new calendar worksheet for each year, changing the year in the first Month will change the year in the rest of the months. Each day is a cell you can add notes to, and with your own copy do whatever to. https://docs....

Re: Legacy Namegivers- An Immortalized Identity

Awesome.

I have no idea when/how/if i would use this in a game but thank you for the feedback, it definitely gives me something to think about.

If anyone runs with this, I hope you post how it was used.

Legacy Namegivers- An Immortalized Identity

A "Dread Pirate Roberts" situation. If you don't happen to be privy to story in The Princess Bride, here is the part I am referring too [spoilers]: In the story, it is revealed that a ruthless, mythical pirate known as "The Dread Pirate Roberts" is not a single man, but a series of men. The title is...

Re: Fourth Edition Errata, Clarifications, and FAQs

Hopefully this clears things up.

Morgan
Yes, thank you. I kept reading it as "makes a Storm Call +20 test". I think the Ethandrille's mismatched bonuses threw me off.

Just sloppy consistency. It means the same thing.
Thank you for the clarification.

Re: Fourth Edition Errata, Clarifications, and FAQs

I was also wondering about the inconsistencies among creatures movement in the GMG.

Some creatures have (Swim X) others have (Swimming X) and some have (Climb X) while others have (Climbing X).

Was this a simple oversight or is there some reason for the distinction that I am missing?

Re: need a name

I know 0 about "the entity", but the word 'refraction' sounds cool and relates to how crystals bend light.

Refraction Born
Eve of Refraction

I wish I had the time to play in this campaign.

Re: Aggressive Attack wording

so does that mean if you declare aggressive or defensive you take the penalty/bonus before your turn in the initiative? Yes. Before AND after your initiative. The effects of your declared combat options last until the next time you would be able to declare combat options. also- I learned a thing! A...

Re: Riposte

This was also addressed in 3rd Edition.

"The adept can use this talent a number of times each round equal to his
Riposte Rank, but may only make a single counterattack per round." - ED3 Players Guide PG 78

If not making a counterattack, it is effectively a parry.

Re: Airship Altitude

This is awesome. With complexity comes options. Need to keep your players grounded? Sorry, this ship will not embark until winds become more favorable. In a rush to move your players along? Great! We just grabbed an excellent tailwind, we are ahead of schedule. Need to divert course? Unfortunately t...
