Re: K'ansanar's tail

Might it not simply be a temporary punishment? A mark that can’t be concealed but doesn’t last forever either? Like you might only go to prison for a year but not the rest of your life. It’d make sense that regrowing his tail was important since his punishment is no longer visible. Basically, he ma...

Re: Ranged Aiming

Personally I would just adapt the existing rule on Called shot: Normal attack: I aim to GENERALLY hit the target without taking extra time = no modifiers Called Shot: I aim to PRECISELY hit the target without taking extra time = -3 penalty to attack Aimed Shot: I aim to GENERALLY hit the target WHIL...

Re: K'ansanar's tail

I'd say there is 3 possibilities: 1- It was, indeed, cauterized. 2- The Denizens book also states at page 73: In fact, a t'skrang can lose three or four feet of tail in combat and regenerate most of that length within a year. Thus it COULD mean that the tail can regrow if its cut no further than 4 f...

Re: Kratas

OK never mind, I'm completely wrong. Because there is stats for SOME of the (major) NPC in the 3rd Edition book (AND the same data in the Classic Edition) I thought it meant it included the Codex data but it does not. 3rd Edition seems to be completely missing the NPC Codex (named Kratas Characters ...

Re: Kratas

If you purchase it, make sure you get the 3rd Edition one not the Classic Edition. Why is that? The Classic Edition Kratas book comes in 2 parts: 1- The main book itself. 2- A 100 pages Codex that cover the main NPC (description and stats) of the city. While the 3rd Edition comes in a single book, ...

Re: Kratas

Personally, the Kratas book is my second favorite 'geography' book (after Serpent River). One might be afraid that the book would only be of interest to Thieves characters or the likes but no, they balanced the city so that it is still a place where 'regular' people can live, just a lot darker and r...

Re: thinking switch 3rd to 4th edition

Is there a 4th ed windmaster on Panda’s gaming grove? More or less. He made a section about some extended Disciplines (http://pandagaminggrove.blogspot.com/2014/09/earthdawn-4e-anatomy-of-discipline-03.html). Things like Windscouts, Windmasters and Winddancers where created in a time before the opt...

Mundane object's spell defense

Hello all.

I'm trying to figure out what would be the Spell Defense of mundane objects for use with the Rust spell. Does anyone knows if there is a list somewhere for stuff like chains, cuffs, metal locks and prison bars?

Thank you.

Re: The Store

Pretty much the entire Earthdawn section of the store seems to be bugged. No products are shown.

Re: Divine Aura

I was referring primarily to my ability to spot his baddies lurking in ambush around the corner on my astral radar, before they get the jump on us. Remember that non-living object also have an astral imprint and they are NOT transparent: if you cannot visually see someone because he is hiding behin...
