Re: thinking switch 3rd to 4th edition

Is there a 4th ed windmaster on Panda’s gaming grove? More or less. He made a section about some extended Disciplines (http://pandagaminggrove.blogspot.com/2014/09/earthdawn-4e-anatomy-of-discipline-03.html). Things like Windscouts, Windmasters and Winddancers where created in a time before the opt...

Mundane object's spell defense

Hello all.

I'm trying to figure out what would be the Spell Defense of mundane objects for use with the Rust spell. Does anyone knows if there is a list somewhere for stuff like chains, cuffs, metal locks and prison bars?

Thank you.

Re: The Store

Pretty much the entire Earthdawn section of the store seems to be bugged. No products are shown.

Re: Divine Aura

I was referring primarily to my ability to spot his baddies lurking in ambush around the corner on my astral radar, before they get the jump on us. Remember that non-living object also have an astral imprint and they are NOT transparent: if you cannot visually see someone because he is hiding behin...

Re: Discipline's Philosphy

The 4th Edition Companion deal a bit with Talent Crisis at page 436.

The 1st Edition Adept's Way deal with it in more details AND gives detailed example of Discipline violations (and ways to redeem them) for each Discipline at the end of the book.

Re: Movement&Distances

In my opinion, movement is the one thing 4th Edition broke. Although I agree that movement rate in first and second edition was crazy and in need of nerfing, it was reduced by too much but this is not the only problem. Fourth edition tried (and mostly succeeded) in simplifying the game mechanics by ...

Re: 3rd edition poiton of life

Good question, the Gamemaster guide's description only states that the owner must be doing the action to fill the bottle, nothing is said about who can drink from that bottle. Personally I would rule that it could be drank by someone else considering that at Rank 5 it can creates FIVE healing potion...

Re: T'Skrang ships

Why would anyone want a riverboat? I look at the buying price and see the Purchasing/Cargo ratio being about the same. In terms of mobility and risk of robbery, the airship is clearly in advantage. In short, they must be a factor 10 cheaper, otherwise there is no logical reason to go for them. On a...

Re: Living Legend Cults

The only description (instead of mentions) I could find about Living Legends is in the 1st Edition Barsaive Boxed set: This type of group originated with small societies that promoted hero worship. Living legend cults grew from those groups who believed that the answers to meeting the new challenges...
