No. The falling isnt because of the damage, see "pounce". It's because of the attack test.

instead of putting the question here in a general form i present the concrete one:
A lioness attacks, uses pounce and knocks her opponent to the ground. Can she use her surprise strike for the following damage roll? (It wasnt eligible when the attack "started")

in companion the "lead the attack" special maneuver mentions the phrase "status effect". What is that? I couldnt find it in any other rulebook.

1) Is the "Craftsman" skill more of a skill-bundle like the "Knowledge" skills? So one has to choose a narrow focus for it, say, "Craftsman (Cooper)"? It seems ambiguous for me in th rulebook. My grandfather could repair nearly everything around the house. What skills would have been best describing...

The leopard isnt willful(1) but all of the similar creatures are: tiger, lion. It seems like an omission, since on one hand they r otherwise statistically nearly identical otoh i dont know of anything that might indicate lepoards r especially susceptible to taming compared to other big cats.
