Re: Horror: The Protector
Glad that you think it is cool. And another cool thing is that it is Horror, it can certainly have a split personality too!
Hope you find some use for it.

Re: Horror: The Protector
That is a possibility. But not how I envision it in my campaign. How I envision it, is that the astral form is the connection between the physical forms, in a way. They are all aware of what is happening to all the forms, at least as long as the astral form is alive. If it is killed, that connection...

Re: Horror: The Protector
I haven't given that part too much mechanical thought yet. And to be honest I am not sure I will. It comes out of a narrative idea, of a horror that will prove to be very hard to kill permanently, but also to send the characters on a chase around Barsaive. The first thought that sent me down this al...

Horror: The Protector
Hi I just detailed a Horror that I am going to use as a campaign spanning opponent for my players, and thought I'd share it with other gamemasters who might be interested. If you want to have a look, you can find the write-up here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jtufhwj02pj3zg9/The%20Protector.pdf?dl=0 C...

Re: Funerals and Passions
actually, if I recall correctly, in the Longing Ring novel or one of the books in that series, the main char goes to the afterlife. To death's domain. The Lore nerds would have to dig that out but there's written example of at least Death's realm Yes, and Death is sometimes described as a Passion, ...

Funerals and Passions
I was thinking about burial and funerals in Barsaive, and if there is a Passion, and its Questors, who usually handle the burial and funeral of Namegivers. I would assume that a Namegiver who has devoted his or her life to one Passion will have it handled by that Passion's other devotees in one way ...

Creatures by Challenge Rating
I have an old list of Earthdawn creatures, listed by Challenge Rating, but for a previous edition. I found it handy at times, and now I have compiled a similar document for ED4. If other Game Masters find this useful, you can find the list here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5n1nr8o9oq9uysi/Creatures%20...

Re: More than one Talent Option each circle?
Thanks for the insights. As the GM I will have to think a little about this before I allow the house rule or turn it down. But it was good to read about your experiences and thoughts on the matter.

Re: More than one Talent Option each circle?
According to the rules he is allowed to pick one Talent Option each circle. He wants to pick more than one Talent Option each circle. And he can't get it via the Versatility Talent, since he's a dwarf.
