Re: Fan Collection - The Ways of Adepts
Clearly, this took me a while to put together, but... well, here it is! This is written from the perspective of Khara Venge, my Nethermancer with severe social anxiety. Chronicler's Notes When the name Khara Venge was first recommended to me, I set it to my list and thought I would simply stop by th...

Re: Funerals and Passions
I've always imagined this as a Nethermancer thing, but short of that, something that would have built up a ton of variation over the Scourge. Every kaer would have their own funerary practices which, depending on their circumstances, could range from long periods of mourning and solemn dirges, to pa...

Re: Haggle on Advancement fee.
Are we... haggling over when it should be acceptable to use Haggle? This is too meta for me.

Re: Blood Spring [uncategorizable]
OK, having seen them in practice and then come back to read them through, I do have a few thoughts. First, while I like the general idea of that difference between removing them with or without Physician, the "without Physician" way doesn't really make sense. I don't have any kind of skill at physic...

Re: Aspect of the Cowardly Skulk?
It doesn't just apply to Stealthy Stride, though -- that also boosts Awareness, Creature Analysis, and Evidence Analysis, at least. I'm not sure if there are other Talents that involve "gaining information from direct observation"... hm. Empathic Sense, probably. Could make an argument for Research ...

Re: Defining "Knowledge of Nethermancy"
Theoretically, albeit silly I know, having a Knowledge skill called Nethermancy would render you immune to the spell, which I gather is not the intent "Have you ever heard of Nethermancy?" "Um... only just now, when you mentioned it. Why?" "Darnit! Now my spell won't work, for you carry within you ...

Barsaive Reclaimed
OK, I'll go ahead and kick this thread off, I guess. This is mainly for journal entries for the Barsaive Reclaimed game (hence, the Subject. Subtle, no? ...Indeed, no.) Anyway, our GM gave us this; 1) What does your character look like? 2) Your Discipline (Nethermancer, Elementalist, Thief, etc) is ...

Re: A Beautiful Tale of Finding Friendship
Also, this came in from the player of our Air Sailor! She doesn't have an account on the forum, but gave me permission to post it on her behalf. (Actually, she claims it's all my fault, and I will cheerfully take the credit. I think it's brilliant.) Just sit right back And you'll hear a tale A tale ...

A Beautiful Tale of Finding Friendship
This is from a little one shot (well, two shot doesn't have the same ring to it) that Slimcreeper ran for us. I want to apologize to the player for Garrel, our Beastmaster. He was awesome and really was a big part of things in the first session, but then RL totally blindsided him and he couldn't mak...

Re: AAR: [1st] Marking the beginnings (220-01-04@20:00 GMT)
(The opening of Shel Vondevang's journal is written in Throalic) Followed the old road, escorting surveyors Jorank and Mumin out to the 50th mile marker. And if you only read Throalic, go look up someone else's journal with the other ujnort. There were five of us. Caedda seemed nice. (After that, sh...
