Chapter 15 has serious layout issues. Not all of the Passions get blank lines before their name appears. It also looks like 3/4 of Floranuus' description is behind the art for Dis on p. 473. I'm also not entirely sure the art for the passions is all in the correct order.

Oh yeah. I see that. Easy to miss the situation with the missing text if you're just skimming for obvious stuff.

Thanks for the heads up.

(Oy. This is why we have the PDF up before sending the final print files off.)

You've fixed over 90% of the bugs listed on the spreadsheet. Here are the few that are left:

Code: Select all

Page Number     Type of bug     Description
general         templating      "NA" and "N/A" are both used. Choose one.
general         page numbering  page numbers in the pdf are wrong, the cover and color plates are incorrectly numbered 1-11.
general         technology      page references within the pdf should actually be hyperlinks
109             templating      "This is a simple Action" should instead be at the start of the Ability description as "As a Simple Action, the Thief may spend 2 Strain to…"
135             confusing       Do you get the Cobra Strike bonus against every opponent or only one opponent?
166             confusing       How about "The Adept may use their Shield as a Melee Weapon. After making a successful Melee Weapons test to hit, they use the Shield Bash Step for Damage, with Physical Armor reducing the result. The target of the attack makes a Knockdown test using the damage dealt as the difficulty number."
239             XX              see Recovering from Injury, p. XX
380             hyperlinking    There is a link on p. 380 to text on p. 380.
399             XX              see Recovering from Injury, p. XX

pg. 55: Obsidimen starting WIL is 20 rather than 10.

Speaking of the Race Summary table, is there a reason the attribute abbreviations are included in the body of the table rather than as headers? I would think moving them to the top would increase readability tremendously.

On page 357 in description of the Loan Spell spell.

"If the target does not know the Spellcasting talent or skill, he makes a Perception test in place of a Spellcasting test."

Pretty sure this is a legacy from ED1 since there's no more Spellcasting skill in further editions.

For those that have downloaded the PDF, an updated version just went up with the Passions chapter fixed. You should be able to download an updated copy through the store.

Other changes are being logged, and we're going to get as many of them in as possible before the files go off to the printer later this week. When that happens, another update will go out (and I may edit this thread to remove references to errors that were fixed).

Thank you for all your help!

Personality Traits in 5th chapter, on page 73rd:

The sample traits given below (positive, neutral, and negative) can help players and gamemasters begin forming their characters’ personalities. Choose one or two traits or make up one or two of your own.

Where are those traits?

That is a legacy of versioning. Earlier drafts had that whole list of traits, but it got cut and the text never updated. Thanks!

In the kickstarter credits you may want to remove "no" "none" and "NA" and use capital letters in names for the people who didn't do it yet (the obvious ones).
